The Perfect Gift For Coffee & Tea Lovers…
Are you looking for a gift for someone special, but are at a loss for what to get?
If you’re like me, you probably don’t like to give gifts, just for the sake of giving gifts. When I give a gift, I want it to be somewhat meaningful and thoughtful. Believe me, I received my share of meaningless gifts that quickly find their way onto the junk shelve in the garage, and I hesitate to do the same to others.
If the recipient is a coffee or tea drinker, then you might want to consider a Coffee And Tea Gift Basket.
Most people drink coffee and/or tea at least once a day, if not several times per day. Some are true connoisseurs and take their caffeine laced elixir quite seriously. For others its just a necessary evil to help jump start the day. Either way, giving coffee or tea as a gift has become quite popular lately, and is very much appreciated by those on the receiving end. Every Christmas, my wife and daughters stuff my stocking with a wonderful variety of gourmet coffees, and I must admit, it’s one of the most anticipated and satisfying gifts that I get.
Whether it be for Christmas, Valentines, Mother’s and Father’s Day, or birthdays, a gift basket filled with a variety of gourmet coffees, teas, and accessories would be a very thoughtful and well received gift for that special friend or loved one.
If you want to buy one, the variety of coffee and tea gift baskets that you can find online are so numerous that you can be sure to find a basket for just about every taste and every budget.
If you are more of a do-it-yourself-er and have the time and patience, then consider putting together your own basket that has a more personal touch.
Some ideas of what would be included in the perfect basket would be to have a variety of specialty coffees such as flavored, Kona, Ethiopian, arabica, cappuccinos, espressos, etc. You could also include a variety of teas such as orange pekoe, earl gray, organic, green, chamomile, etc. Most coffees and teas come in both caffeine and de-caffeinated varieties.
One idea that I like, is to include sample sizes of several different flavors, blends, and bean types. Good coffee can be expensive and getting sample sizes will allow you to give a bigger variety for less money.
You could also include coffee and tea related items such as mugs, grinders, flavored creamers, tea pots, tea baskets, and other related accessories.
Another great addition to the basket would be some delicious munchies such as cookies, crackers, biscottis, muffins, etc. And of course, chocolate is always a welcomed addition.
Lastly, you could finish it off with related coffee and tea books that cover subjects such as the history of coffee and tea, how coffee and tea is made, or recipe books for specialty coffee and tea drinks. Other ideas would be to include ornaments and other little trinkets that give it that final personal touch.
As a budding coffee connoisseur, receiving a thoughtful coffee, tea gift basket whether bought or made, would be a much appreciated gift, and I guarantee that most coffee and tea drinkers would feel the same.
I guess I know what I’m going to get my husband for Valentines!
